Negotiations on Expanding International Cooperation Held Between UzSWLU and SEPIE Representative within the Framework of the Barcelona Forum

Within the framework of the First Forum of Rectors of Uzbekistan and Spain Universities held at the University of Barcelona, discussions took place between Fatima Terol, Deputy Head of the International Promotion of Higher Education Department at the Spanish Service for the Internationalization of Education (SEPIE), and Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, Rector of Uzbekistan State World Languages University.

During the meeting, the parties discussed further strengthening cooperation between higher education institutions of Uzbekistan and Spain, launching joint academic programs, enhancing student and faculty exchange initiatives, and implementing collaborative academic and research projects.

Particular attention was given to expanding cooperation opportunities under the Erasmus+ programme, promoting international grants and academic mobility, and supporting joint scientific research initiatives.
