New horizons in international cooperation are opening!
A high-level meeting was held between the delegation of Uzbekistan and the University of Barcelona.
From the Uzbek side, the meeting was attended by Dilrabo Baxronova, Head of the Department of Spanish Applied Sciences, Doctor of Philology, Professor, and Lochin Zaripov, Head of the Education Quality Control Department of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor.

From the Spanish side, participants included the Rector of the University, Joan Guàrdia Olmos, Vice-Rector for International Relations Raúl Ramos Lobo, and Head of the International Relations Office Eva Martinez.
During the meeting, the parties discussed expanding academic and scientific cooperation, developing academic mobility and exchange programs, as well as implementing joint projects within the Erasmus+ framework. A memorandum aimed at strengthening mutual cooperation was signed.
This cooperation creates the following strategic opportunities for the Uzbekistan State World Languages University:
- international academic mobility and exchange;
- Erasmus+ grants and joint projects;
- modernization of curricula based on European standards;
- participation in international research and prestigious publications;
- improvement of education quality and ranking indicators;
- future implementation of dual degree programs.
This meeting brings academic relations between Uzbekistan and Spain to a new level and further strengthens the university’s international standing.
