Next Meeting on Strategic Scientific Cooperation with Warwick University Professor and UzSWLU Professor

A subsequent meeting dedicated to strategic scientific cooperation was held with Professor Anthony Liddicoat from the University of Warwick (UK), Editor-in-Chief of the Q1 Scopus-indexed journal Current Issues in Language Planning, and Professor G. Ergasheva of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University.

During the meeting, the current status of works within the framework of the Special Issue of Current Issues in Language Planning on “Language Policy and Planning in Uzbekistan” was discussed. Special attention was given to working with authors, improving the quality of scientific articles, and ensuring compliance with editorial requirements.

In particular, agreements were reached on organizing high-level scientific-practical seminars and master classes for authors participating in the special issue, focusing on international publication standards and editorial processes.

The meeting was held in a spirit of high-level academic dialogue and outlined clear and practical directions for systematically and qualitatively addressing pressing issues in Uzbekistan’s language policy and planning on the international scientific stage.
