November 23 is the International Day of teachers of French. In this regard, today UzSWLU in cooperation with the embassy of France in Uzbekistan round table were organized at the university.

It negotiated the establishment of French language instruction in Uzbekistan as well as French language instruction in doctoral studies.

The event was attended by Mr. Loran Oriol, ambassador advisor for cultural affairs from the French Embassy, Mr. Serge Bellini, attache for Education and inter-university cooperation, Siprien Lerua, representative of the Campus France organization that promotes higher education in France, and representatives of the National University of Uzbekistan.

Also, representatives of foreign language universities in a number of regions attended the event online.
