On April 10, the Report and Election Conference of the Trade Union Committee was held at Uzbekistan State World Languages University

The event was opened by the rector of the university, Professor Ilkhomjon Tuhtasinov. The conference was chaired by A.R. Rahmonov, Chairman of the Tashkent City Council of the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of Uzbekistan.

During the report and election conference, a detailed report on the activities of the Trade Union Committee of Uzbekistan State World Languages University for the period from June 2020 to March 2025 was presented. The committee’s work in previous years, initiatives to protect the collective’s interests, and the achievements made were discussed.

Additionally, during the conference, delegates from the university were elected for the upcoming conference of the Tashkent City Division of the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of Uzbekistan.

Another important issue addressed at the event was the election of the chairman of the university’s Trade Union Committee. The proposed candidate, Matyakubov Davlat Ruzmatovich, was re-elected through a closed vote.
