On April 9, the 7th session of the Scientific Council for awarding academic degrees (registration number DSc.03/30.12.2019.Fil.27.01) was held at Uzbekistan State World Languages University.

At the session, Dilnavoz Murodova successfully defended her dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Philology on the topic "Poetics of the Image of Indians in the Novels of Fenimore Cooper," prepared in the specialty 10.00.04 – Language and Literature of the Peoples of Europe, America, and Australia.

During the defense, members of the Scientific Council, the scientific supervisor, and official opponents participated and shared their opinions and feedback on the candidate's research. The scientific-theoretical significance, practical value, and relevance of the dissertation work were particularly highlighted.
