On December 1, a dissertation defense session was held at the Extended Departmental Council of the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages, organized by the leading institution

The dissertation of researcher Shamsiddinova Zebo Fazliddinovna, titled "Comparative Study of Past Tense Forms in Modern Uzbek and Chinese Languages," prepared in the specialty 10.00.06 – Comparative Literature, Contrastive Linguistics, and Translation Studies, for obtaining the PhD degree in Philology, was discussed.

During the session, the researcher provided detailed information about her scientific research, its relevance, and its scientific innovations. She answered the questions posed by seminar members with well-reasoned and thoroughly prepared responses.

At the end of the session, the dissertation was recommended for open defense, which further confirmed the scientific significance of the research.
