On December 2, an extended academic meeting of the department was held at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages.

During the academic seminar, the dissertation of researcher Ayakulov Nurbek Abdug’appor og‘li, submitted for the degree of Doctor of Science (DSc) in Philological Sciences in the specialty 10.00.06 – Comparative Literature, Contrastive Linguistics, and Translation Studies, was discussed. The dissertation is titled “A Comparative Study of Investment-Related Lexical Units in English and Uzbek.”

During the event, the researcher presented the results of the studies conducted within the framework of his topic, highlighted their scientific novelty, and provided well-grounded answers to the questions raised by members of the academic seminar.

The discussion concluded successfully, and the dissertation was recommended for the next stage.
