On December 2, an extended scientific meeting of the department was held at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages.

During the academic seminar, the dissertation submitted by researcher Zuxra Almamat qizi Xusanova for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Philological Sciences, specializing in 10.00.06 – Comparative Literature, Contrastive Linguistics, and Translation Studies, was discussed. The dissertation is titled: “Linguopragmatic Features of Press Texts in the USA and Uzbekistan (Based on Socio-Political Newspapers).”

During the event, the researcher presented the results of her studies within the scope of the topic, highlighted their scientific novelty, and provided well-substantiated answers to the questions raised by seminar participants.

The discussion concluded successfully, and the dissertation was recommended for the next stage.
