On January 30, a meeting took place between the leadership of UzSWLU and a delegation from Wakayama University, Japan

During the program, Wakayama University Rector Prof. Mitsugi Motoyama, Executive Director for International Relations Prof. Takanori Nomura, Manager for International Relations Mr. Takumi Teramoto, Specially Appointed Coordinator for International Affairs Kazuye Nakamoto, as well as UzSWLU Rector Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, Head of the International Relations Department Khusan Yo'ldoshev, and other officials participated.

At the beginning of the meeting, the parties exchanged detailed information about the activities of their respective universities.

Following that, topics such as education, student exchange programs, and other areas of cooperation were discussed. At the conclusion, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed on the issues agreed upon.
