On July 17, 2025, the Rector of UzSWLU, I. Tukhtasinov, received the director and representatives of E-Line Press.
At the beginning of the meeting, the company representatives were provided with brief information about the university's activities, and a short video presentation was shown.
The head of E-Line Press announced that, in order to improve the quality of education at the university, researchers, faculty members, and students will be granted free access for one year to the resource base of Russia’s “LAN” electronic libraries. The company also expressed its readiness to provide consultations on how to use the platform — including searching for journals and sources, publishing scientific articles in prestigious indexed journals — and to organize seminars to boost the university's ranking and scientific potential.
In addition, he spoke about the opportunity to publish articles in scientific journals of Oxford University (UK) with up to 90% discount or for free and mentioned that from September 2025, free one-month access may be granted to Oxford University Press’s scientific databases.
E-Line Press also announced that its partner, Clarivate — founded in 2016 and engaged in data management, information systems, and academic research — offers UzSWLU researchers the opportunity to upload their dissertations to its databases free of charge.
I. Tukhtasinov expressed readiness to cooperate with the company and proposed collaboration in developing and publishing new textbooks and teaching materials in foreign languages, journalism, and other fields with the participation of UzSWLU faculty and researchers, as well as organizing scientific seminars for doctoral students. He also emphasized that providing office space for E-Line Press at the university and organizing joint special training sessions and seminars for the trainees of the UzSWLU Center for Retraining and Advanced Training of Pedagogical Staff would yield positive outcomes.
Both parties agreed to further expand their cooperation. At the end of the meeting, a cooperation agreement was signed between UzSWLU and E-Line Press.
