On May 23, the delegation led by Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, the rector of UzSWLU, continued their business trip to Germany.

Their next stop was Gothenburg University in Mainz. Upon arrival, the UzSWLU delegation was warmly welcomed by the university's management.

During the initial part of their visit, a meeting was held between the leaders of the two universities. Detailed information about the activities and educational systems of both universities was presented, and a video was shown.

Following these introductions, the leaders discussed potential future cooperation, agreeing on student and experience exchanges, as well as the establishment of necessary conditions for these exchanges. This led to the signing of a memorandum of understanding.

Additionally, they agreed to adopt the University of Mainz's expertise in translation training, aiming to enhance UzSWLU's translation programs and to organize summer camps for foreign students.

The meeting concluded with an exchange of souvenirs between the parties.
