On May 6, an official meeting was held at the rectorate of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University with representatives of China’s Tang International Education Group and Tang International Education and Technology companies.

The Chinese delegation included company presidents Li Jinsong and Qian Xiang, as well as Qing Lifen, Manager for Operations and Cooperation, and Wang Minyan, Business Director.

Representing UzSWLU were Rector I. Tukhtasinov, Head of the International Cooperation Department X. Yuldashev, Leading Specialist of the International Cooperation Department D. Khodjabekova, Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Philology D. Juraev, and Head of the Korean Philology Department Sh. Hakimova.

During the meeting, the parties discussed a number of important issues. In particular, they considered expanding cooperation in such areas as the development of vocational education at the university, effective organization of student internships, professional development of faculty members, and the launch of scholarship programs for students majoring in the Chinese language.

The participants also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest and outlined prospects for future cooperation.

The meeting was held in a friendly and constructive atmosphere.
