On May 6, the Department of Practical Aspects of the English Language at the Faculty of English Philology of UzSWLU organized a national student scientific-practical conference.

The conference, titled “Topical Issues of Methodological Competence, Translation, and Scientific Research in Science and Education”, was opened by Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation Otabek Yusupov. In his opening remarks, he highlighted the opportunities created at our university for students to acquire knowledge, conduct research, and participate in startup projects.

The Dean of the Faculty, Yusufjon Azzamov, provided detailed information about academic circles established to engage students in scientific activities, the mentor-student system, and the stages of selecting candidates for prestigious scholarships.

During the conference, speakers shared their thoughts on increasing student engagement in science, education, and methodological innovation. They also presented new ideas and initiatives in foreign language teaching and shared their experiences in literary translation practice.

At the end of the conference, active participants were awarded certificates.
