On May 8, the 9th meeting of the Council of the Uzbekistan State World LanguagesUniversity  (UzSWLU) was held.

The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Council, Rector Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, and members of the Council.

The agenda included the following topics:

I. Rector Tukhtasinov presented information on the implementation of the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Presidential decrees, Government resolutions, and orders of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation. Reports were also presented regarding the handling of public appeals by university officials, activities related to the monument of Aleksandr Faynberg, the quality of education, academic, methodological, and spiritual-enlightenment work, conditions in student dormitories, departmental development, research activities, and other issues.

In addition, the meeting discussed the recommendation of several scientific monographs authored by university professors for publication. Staff actively engaged in scientific research were rewarded.

During the meeting, the Advanced Training Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan expressed gratitude to the Uzbekistan State World LanguagesUniversity and to Rector Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov for fruitful cooperation and presented commemorative gifts. Commemorative gifts were also presented to other university officials.
