Beruniy Alimov, Associate Professor of the Information Service and Public Relations Department of the Faculty of International Journalism of the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages, took part in the conference "Solving the problem of disruption of the existing digital information environment: Terrorists and violent extremists" held in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia, on April 23-24. participated in the regional conference on "Combating the use of the Internet" and presented "Preventing extremism and radicalism by increasing the media and information literacy of the population: the experience of media NGOs in Uzbekistan".

On May 2, a roundtable discussion on this topic was organized at the "Department of Information Service and Public Relations".

Within the framework of the conference, it was discussed about artificial intelligence, in particular, the opinions and information of foreign experts about fake news and cyber-attacks that occur in journalism.

At the end of the interview, the dean of the faculty Amrullo Karimov spoke about the importance of such international conferences in improving the quality of education and the experiences of the faculty's professors and teachers in the international arena.
