Although the 21st century is marked as the peak of industrial and technological development, the need for a culture of responsible consumption and production continues to grow. In this regard, organizing various events within the education system, particularly in higher education institutions, plays an important role.

In this context, special attention was paid to this topic in the bachelor's program of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University (UzSWLU), in the Philology and Language Teaching department, through an analysis of Upton Sinclair’s novel "The Jungle".

Nazokat Sadullayeva, a lecturer at the Department of Linguistics and English Literature, shared the following thoughts about the book:
"The working conditions depicted in the novel highlight the issues of industrial ethical culture and the violation of human dignity. The book encourages readers to reflect on societal problems and motivates them to act against injustice."
