On December 26, a meeting of the Academic Council dedicated to the defense of a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) dissertation in pedagogical sciences was held at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University.

At the meeting, Abramova Navbahor To‘lqinjon qizi defended her PhD dissertation in pedagogical sciences in the specialty 13.00.02 – Theory and Methodology of Education and Upbringing (English), entitled “A Linguocultural Approach to Improving Students’ Writing Competence in Teaching English.”

During the defense, the scientific foundations of the dissertation, research findings, and their practical significance were thoroughly discussed. The supervisor’s review was presented, followed by a question-and-answer session and academic discussions with the participation of official opponents.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the dissertation was reviewed in accordance with established procedures, and the defense process was conducted in an open and professional atmosphere.
