On February 10, Ismet Dilaver, a PhD student from the University of Alba Iulia, visited the Department of Linguistics and English Literature at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages as part of the Erasmus+ KA171 international academic exchange program.

During the visit, the doctoral student gave a presentation on his research topic, “(Re)visions and (Sub)versions of the American Dream in Selected Works of American Literature.” The lecture provided a detailed analysis of the historical formation of the concept of the American Dream, its literary interpretations, and the evolution of this idea across different periods.

The event was attended by faculty members, master's students, and doctoral students, offering an opportunity to exchange views on pressing issues in literary studies and contemporary humanities research. The academic meeting concluded with an open discussion and a Q&A session.
