Presentation of a New Book by Professor Khayrulla Hamidov of TSUOS Took Place

Recently, a new book entitled “Issues of Turkish Linguistics and Translation Studies” by Professor Khayrulla Hamidov, Doctor of Philology and Professor at the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, was published.

The book was released with a foreword by Professor A. Mannonov, Doctor of Philology. It includes the author’s monographs “Issues of Turkish Phraseology” and “The Works of Reşat Nuri Güntekin in the Uzbek Language”, as well as nearly forty scholarly articles devoted to problems of Turkish linguistics and literary translation. These articles were published between 2002 and 2025 in reputable academic journals included in the list of the Higher Attestation Commission under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan. In terms of content and research approach, the collected materials constitute a coherent and comprehensive fundamental monographic study.

Today, the author visited the university and presented the book to the Rector of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University, Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov. During the meeting, views were exchanged on the academic significance of the book, the relevance of the issues addressed in it, and its role in the development of Turkish linguistics and translation studies.
