2026-09-18 12-50 PREVENTIVE EVENT HELD
A preventive event was held at the Faculty of Oriental Philology of Uzbekistan State University of World Languages, aimed at enhancing students’ knowledge and skills in information security, preventing cybercrime, and protecting them from various threats in cyberspace.
The event was attended by Sh. Bustonova, psychologist of the IPMBIB Department; M. Nurmukhamedova, Prevention Inspector; M. Yuldosheva, IPMBIB Specialist; and faculty tutors.
During the meeting, students received important recommendations on preventing cybercrime, using the internet and social media safely, protecting personal data, avoiding suspicious links, and taking precautions against various types of online fraud.
The participants also emphasized the importance of identifying potential threats in cyberspace in a timely manner and exercising caution when dealing with messages and files received from unknown sources.
At the end of the event, students asked specialists questions of interest to them and received necessary guidance on cybersecurity and the safe use of the internet.
