Preventive Session Held at UzSWLU to Protect Female Students from Violence
On June 17, 2025, in accordance with Clause 2 of Protocol No. 28 from the meeting held under the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a psychological awareness session titled "Preventing Pressure and Violence Against Female Students" was conducted for faculty members of the 2nd English Language Faculty at Uzbekistan State World Languages University (UzSWLU).
Participants included:
Faculty Dean B. Qulmatov, Lieutenant Colonel N. Sobirova — Senior Inspector for Women’s Affairs of the Uchtepa District Internal Affairs Department, university social psychologist Z. Khayrullayeva, members of the University Women’s Advisory Council N. Djurayeva, M. Aripova, F. Ashurova, psychologist Sh. Bostanova, and prevention officer M. Nurmukhmedova.
The event addressed the following key issues:

ways to prevent harassment and violence against female students;

responsible authorities and institutions to contact in such cases;

essential psychological and legal support guidelines.
Speakers engaged in open discussions with female students, offering practical advice and enhancing their legal and psychological awareness.
Such preventive measures are regularly conducted at UzSWLU to ensure the safety and social protection of students, particularly female students.
