On January 29th, UzSWLU professors and teachers, under the leadership of Ra’no Ushirevna and on a service trip in the USA, visited the Chicago compatriots community, initially attending the educational center and observing Uzbek language lessons for young children.

Professor Xadicha Muxitdinova gifted her textbooks and "Uzbek-English Picture Dictionary" books for children to Maftuna Mahmudov, the Uzbek language teacher at the education center.

In the afternoon, a meeting was arranged between the delegation led by Ra’no Urishevna and the leader of the Uzbek-American Compatriots Association in Chicago, Olimjon Sharipov, along with the teachers of the educational center.

The meeting highlighted the efforts of the Uzbek-American Compatriots Association to prevent the young generation from forgetting the Uzbek language and culture, including classes and events organized for children aged 6 to 14-15 years, and initiatives aimed at ensuring they grow up to be competent professionals who can work in Uzbekistan.

Additionally, during the program, productive agreements were reached with Ra’no Urishevna Madjidova, the project manager, and other specialists of the delegation on providing educational centers with Uzbek language textbooks and methodological guides, particularly in creating electronic compilations.
