2026-11-03 10-14 RECTOR OF UZSWLU EXPLORES THE “KASHKADARYA EXPERIENCE”
On 3 November 2026, Professor Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, Rector of Uzbekistan State World Languages University (UzSWLU), visited Karshi State University alongside rectors of higher education institutions from Tashkent city and the Fergana, Namangan, Jizzakh, Syrdarya, and Tashkent regions.
The visit was organized to ensure the implementation of the instructions issued by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, study the effective practices developed at Karshi State University, known as the “Kashkadarya Experience”, and introduce these practices into the activities of higher education institutions across the country.
As part of the visit programme, the rectors familiarized themselves with the transformations carried out at Karshi State University, the facilities established for academic and research activities, and its modern infrastructure. In particular, they visited the five-storey Faculty of Languages building, the stadium of the “Lochin” football club, the Conference Palace, the Student Services Centre, the Centre for International Research Laboratories, and the facilities available at the Youth Centre.
Following the tour, a seminar was held at the Youth Centre. During the seminar, D. Nabiyev, Rector of Karshi State University, delivered a presentation on the university’s development indicators, the integration of digital technologies into the educational process, initiatives to promote student employment, the development of university infrastructure, and efforts to establish cooperation with industrial enterprises.
The seminar addressed key issues such as the digitalization of higher education institutions, the effective organization of the educational process, expanding opportunities for students, promoting their employment, and strengthening university–industry cooperation. Participants also exchanged views on introducing best practices into the higher education system, sharing institutional experience, and expanding cooperation.
The visit is of significant importance for Uzbekistan State World Languages University in terms of studying and adopting the effective aspects of the “Kashkadarya Experience” to improve the educational process, enhance management efficiency, expand the implementation of digital solutions, promote student employment, and develop practical cooperation with the industrial sector.
