Today, the Rector of Uzbekistan State World Languages University, I. Tukhtasinov, together with the Vice-Rector for Financial and Economic Affairs, M. Khamrayev, visited the university’s Dormitory No. 2.
Due to the sharp drop in temperature, the living conditions provided for students were inspected on site.
During the visit, special attention was paid to the conditions created for students to spend their free time meaningfully in the dormitory. The importance of strict compliance with safety regulations was also emphasized.
The Rector issued relevant instructions to responsible staff to prevent icing in entrance and exit areas and to eliminate slippery spots.
In addition, within the framework of the visit, the Rector familiarized himself with the ongoing repair and reconstruction works in the classrooms of the Faculty of Oriental Philology allocated under a project implemented at USWLU with the support of the KOICA organization, aimed at improving the teaching of Korean language and literature. These classrooms are being adapted in accordance with project requirements to ensure a modern educational process.
Furthermore, the Rector also visited Dormitories No. 4, 5, and 6, where he analyzed the situation on site, reviewed living conditions, and held direct conversations with students.
During these visits, ensuring student safety and comfort was identified as a top priority.
