2026-09-18 12-21 RECTOR’S MEETING WITH YOUNG PEOPLE
Today, a meeting titled “Rector and Youth” was held at Uzbekistan State University of World Languages with students of the Faculty of English Language No. 2.
During the meeting, University Rector Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov spoke to the students about the ongoing work at the university, key areas for developing the educational process, and the conditions and opportunities created for young people. He encouraged students to take an active part in the university’s social, spiritual and educational life and to make effective use of the available opportunities to develop their knowledge and skills.
The Dean of the Faculty of English Language No. 2, Bazarov Zokir Mekhrikulovich, also addressed the meeting and provided information about the faculty’s academic programmes, the educational process, the conditions created for students, and the work being carried out at the faculty.
During the meeting, students shared their opinions and suggestions and raised questions of interest to them concerning the educational process, university life and opportunities available to young people. Relevant explanations were provided regarding the issues and proposals raised by the students.
Held in an open and sincere dialogue, the meeting provided students with an opportunity to directly discuss matters of interest to them and exchange views.
