2026-09-29 01-51 Regular Staff Meeting Held at Uzbekistan State University of World Languages
Today, a regular staff meeting was held at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages. The meeting was chaired by M. Chutpulatov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs. The meeting was attended by all vice-rectors, advisers to the Rector, deans of faculties, and heads of departments and divisions.
The meeting discussed issues related to the effective organization of the educational process in the new academic year, the current state of the educational process at faculties and departments, student attendance, as well as internal rules and discipline.
Particular attention was paid to working with students, reviewing their appeals and requests, systematically organizing spiritual and educational activities, as well as the living conditions and educational work in student dormitories.
The agenda also included preparations for an international event dedicated to the “European Day of Languages”, which will be held on September 30 at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages in cooperation with the Delegation of the European Union to Uzbekistan and the British Council.
The participants exchanged views on ensuring the high-level organization of the event, coordinating the preparatory activities, and assigning relevant responsibilities to the designated staff members.
The meeting also addressed the development of scientific activities and innovative projects at the university, expansion of international cooperation, improvement of the university’s performance in international rankings, as well as ongoing work related to accreditation.
In addition, issues concerning the strengthening of financial discipline, collection of outstanding tuition contract payments, enhancement of internal control, and ensuring the implementation of assigned tasks were discussed.
Relevant instructions were given to those responsible for each item on the agenda, and the implementation of the assigned tasks was placed under control.
