Today, representatives of the international news agency and media platform Sputnik visited the Faculty of International Journalism at the Uzbek State University of World Languages.

A masterclass on "The Journalist's Code of Professional Ethics" covered the fundamental principles of journalism, objectivity, and responsibility to society.

Maria Krasovskaya, senior editor of the Sputnik Uzbekistan website, provided a detailed explanation of the rules journalists must follow and how to maintain honesty and reliability when working with information.

During the lesson, students were introduced to ethical issues in journalism through real-life examples and were guided on how to address them. The boundaries of freedom of expression and responsibility in information dissemination were also discussed.

Additionally, the Sputnik international news agency offered four students from the Faculty of International Journalism the opportunity to study for free at its office in Moscow. This offer was warmly welcomed by both faculty representatives and students.
