St. Petersburg State University Delegation Visits UzSWLU on May 31

On May 31, representatives from St. Petersburg State University in Russia visited the Uzbekistan State World Languages University (UzSWLU). The delegation included Andryushin Sergey Vladimirovich, Vice-Rector for International Relations; Ziyadullayev Makhmudjon Djurakulovich, Branch Director; and Rubsov Artyom Sergeevich, Branch Director for Academic Affairs. They began their visit with a meeting with UzDJTU's leadership.

UzSWLU representatives at the meeting included:
- Rector Ilkhomjon Madaminovich
- Vice-Rector for International Cooperation A. Nasirov
- Head of the Department of International Relations H. Yuldashev
- Head of the Department of Joint Educational Programs N. Abdullayeva
- Dean of the Faculty of Russian Philology A. Rakhmanov

The discussions focused on establishing joint educational programs with St. Petersburg State University in English and Russian languages. They also explored the potential for attracting graduates of Chinese language programs to the master's degree program at the St. Petersburg State University branch. Additionally, they discussed organizing the "RKI Test Center" for the Russian language at UzSWLU and offering 144-hour professional development courses for teachers in the Faculty of Languages and Translation.
