2026-06-04 12-14 Results of an Independent Researcher’s Dissertation Study Discussed
On June 3, the Department of Practical English Disciplines No. 1 of the Faculty of English Language 1 at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University held a departmental meeting to discuss the results achieved in Chapter I of the dissertation research conducted by third-year independent researcher S. M. Abdullayeva.
The dissertation, prepared under the specialty 13.00.02 – Theory and Methodology of Education and Training, is entitled “Improving the Professional Communication Competence of Law Students through Context-Based Education.”
During the discussion, the researcher presented the objectives and tasks of the study, an analysis of relevant scientific literature, the research methodology, and the scientific results obtained in the first chapter of the dissertation. Information was also provided on the conclusions drawn from the research and the activities planned for the subsequent stages of the study.
At the meeting, Professor D. M. Isroilova of the Department of Practical English Disciplines No. 1 offered a number of scientific and methodological recommendations as well as practical suggestions regarding the content and direction of the dissertation research. Recommendations were made to further improve certain aspects of the study, strengthen its scientific foundations, and enhance the overall quality of the work.
At the conclusion of the discussion, the faculty members positively evaluated the results achieved in the first chapter of S. M. Abdullayeva’s dissertation and recommended that the research be continued in accordance with the established work plan.
