Roundtable Discussion Held on the Topic: “Vaccinating Future Professionals with Integrity — A Demand of the Times”

 

 

As part of the “Anti-Corruption Month” campaign, a roundtable discussion was held at Uzbekistan State University of World Languages on the topic: “Vaccinating Future Professionals with Integrity — A Demand of the Times.” The event was attended by professors, students, and industry specialists.

 

 

The event was opened by the Rector of the University, Ilhomjon Tuxtasinov, who spoke about the state's anti-corruption policy and the recent reforms carried out in this direction. In his speech, he emphasized that, thanks to the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the fight against corruption has become a top priority in state policy, and eliminating this issue is a civic duty for every citizen, especially the youth.

 

 

Abdukamol Rakhmonov, First Deputy Chairman of the Political Council of the “Adolat” Social Democratic Party, also gave opening remarks and shared insights into the party’s ongoing efforts and awareness campaigns against corruption.

 

 

The head of the Uchtepa District Department of Justice, Shamsiddin Amonov, provided detailed information on the legislative basis for combating corruption. Colonel Sharif Qobilov, a professor at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan, presented his views on the topic: “Implementing Integrity and Ethical Standards.”

 

 

During the event, an open discussion was held where participants asked questions and exchanged views on transparency, integrity principles, and increasing legal awareness and culture among youth.

 

 

The event was organized in collaboration with the Central Office of the “Adolat” Social Democratic Party and the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Its main goal was to raise public awareness about the harmful effects of corruption, cultivate a strong anti-corruption attitude among youth, and promote legal literacy.
