Scientific and Educational Meeting Held at Uzbekistan State World Languages University within the Knowledge Exchange Program (KEP)

A scientific and educational meeting was held at the School of Oriental Philology of Uzbekistan State World Languages University as part of the Knowledge Exchange Program (KEP).

The event was dedicated to the topic “Social Economy in Practice: The Experience of KOICA Projects in Uzbekistan.” It featured a graduate of the master’s program from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), one of the leading higher education institutions in the Republic of Korea, as well as a specialist from the Digital Education Development Center (MDT).

During the meeting, detailed information was presented on the contribution of KOICA projects implemented in Uzbekistan to socio-economic development processes, prospects for cooperation in education and innovation, as well as the current state and future development directions of effective cooperation between Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea.

Participants exchanged views on the practical outcomes of KOICA projects, their role in enhancing the capacity of local specialists, and the importance of applying international experience. Students’ questions were also addressed, and advanced practices of the Republic of Korea in education, scientific research, and digital transformation were discussed.

The meeting contributes to expanding students’ knowledge of international cooperation projects, supporting their academic and professional development, and deepening their understanding of global best practices.
