Scientific Seminar Discussion of a Dissertation Held

On February 27, 2026, a scientific seminar discussion of the dissertation of Aziza Komilovna Axmedova was held at Uzbekistan State World Languages University and via the ZOOM online platform.

During the seminar, the dissertation entitled “The Poetics of Psychological Representation of the Artistic Image in Sinclair Lewis’s Prose”, prepared in the specialty 10.00.04 – Language and Literature of the Peoples of Europe, America and Australia for the degree of Doctor of Philological Sciences (DSc), was thoroughly discussed.

The discussion was conducted in a constructive scientific atmosphere based on a question-and-answer format. At the end of the seminar, it was noted that the dissertation meets the established academic requirements and a conclusion was made recommending it for the next stage in accordance with the prescribed procedure.
