Scientific Seminar Held to Discuss a Dissertation

On April 3, a scientific seminar was held at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University in both offline format and via the ZOOM online platform, during which a dissertation was discussed.

The seminar reviewed the dissertation of Gulmira Sharifovna Absalamova, submitted for the degree of Doctor of Philological Sciences (DSc) in the specialty 10.00.06 – Comparative Literature, Contrastive Linguistics, and Translation Studies. The dissertation is titled: “Structural-Content and National-Cultural Analysis of Linguistic and Literary Terms (Based on the English and French Languages).”

During the seminar, participants expressed their opinions on the relevance of the research, its scientific novelty, and its theoretical and practical significance. Participants also asked questions regarding the dissertation, to which the author provided detailed answers.

At the conclusion of the seminar, appropriate conclusions were drawn regarding the dissertation.
