Scientific Seminar on Dissertation Held

On February 27, 2026, a scientific seminar on dissertation research was held at Uzbekistan State World Languages University and via the ZOOM online platform.

During the seminar, the dissertation entitled “Symmetric and Asymmetric Relations in the Perception of Languages of Different Systems” prepared by Sherali Ibrohimovich Shokirov for the degree of Doctor of Philological Sciences (DSc) in the specialty 10.00.06 – Comparative Literature, Contrastive Linguistics and Translation Studies was thoroughly discussed.

The relevance of the research, its theoretical and practical significance, scientific novelty, as well as the reliability of the obtained results were examined in detail. The scientific advisor of the dissertation, Doctor of Philological Sciences (DSc), Professor Jamalidin Abduvaliyevich Yakubov, provided information on the research process and the achieved results.

The discussion was conducted in a scientific atmosphere based on a question-and-answer format.

At the end of the seminar, it was noted that the dissertation meets the established requirements and an appropriate conclusion was made recommending it for the next stage.
