Successful Completion of an International Exchange Program under Turkey–Uzbekistan Cooperation
On June 14, within the framework of the “In the Footsteps of Ancient Words: Turkey–Uzbekistan Language and Literature Specialist Exchange Program,” members of the delegation from the Republic of Turkey visited the historic cities of Uzbekistan — Samarkand and Bukhara.
During the visit, the guests explored architectural monuments reflecting the rich history of Samarkand, sacred sites, and the legacy of great scholars. In addition, the ancient streets and historical landmarks of Bukhara left a lasting impression on them.
The delegates highly appreciated the sincere hospitality of the Uzbek people, the rich culture, and national traditions, noting that the visit was meaningful and memorable for them.
At the conclusion of the program, the delegation was warmly seen off from Tashkent. Over several days, academic meetings, experience-sharing sessions, and cultural exchanges further strengthened friendship and cooperation between the two brotherly nations.
The Turkish guests expressed their interest in continuing cooperation in education, science, and culture, and extended their gratitude to the hosts for the high level of organization of the visit.
It is believed that the friendly ties established through this project will serve as a solid foundation for new initiatives and promising future collaborations.
