Supporting Young Entrepreneurs: An Important Step Toward the Future
On 16 July, the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages hosted an online sectoral event via the Zoom platform as part of the June–August "Youth Day" action plan. The event, organized with the participation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and industry experts, focused on encouraging greater youth involvement in entrepreneurship.
The event was attended by M. Chutpulatov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, representatives of the Student Internship Department, Maftuna Yuldosheva, a specialist from the Department for Social and Psychological Environment, as well as faculty deans.
During the meeting, students and graduates received comprehensive information about government support measures for young people, including preferential loans, grants, subsidies, and the opportunities offered by the "Youth Business" and "Kelajakka qadam" (Step Towards the Future) programs.
In addition, representatives of the banking and business sectors—F. Akmalov, T. Abdukarimov, and I. Nosirjonov—shared practical recommendations on launching entrepreneurial activities, financing business projects, and making effective use of existing support mechanisms.
At the end of the event, participants received detailed answers to their questions from experts and gained valuable knowledge on starting and developing entrepreneurial ventures.
