Targeted efforts to promote the employment of UzSWLU graduates continue
In accordance with the tasks set by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, during the open dialogue with young people held on 24 February 2026, and with the aim of increasing graduate employment, a regional headquarters for supporting the employment of higher education graduates has been established at the Tashkent Youth Center.
As part of the headquarters’ activities, a working group led by M. Chutpulatov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University (UzSWLU), actively participated in assessing the employment status of the university’s graduates.
According to the analysis, 521 out of 947 graduates (55.2%) permanently residing in the city of Tashkent have secured permanent employment.
Individual interviews were conducted with the remaining 426 unemployed graduates to identify their professional interests and employment needs.
As a result of the assessment, three graduates were recommended for available vacancies and successfully employed.
Targeted measures aimed at assisting graduates in securing suitable employment and enhancing youth employment continue on a systematic basis.
