2026-09-30 12-05 The 22nd International Scientific Conference “Vinogradov Readings” Held at Uzbekistan State World Languages University
Today, September 29, the 22nd International Scientific Conference “Vinogradov Readings” was held at the Faculty of Russian Philology of Uzbekistan State World Languages University.
The international scientific conference was organized with the support of the Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature of Tashkent, the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The opening ceremony was attended by I.M. Tukhtasinov, Rector of Uzbekistan State World Languages University; A.V. Yer<PRIVATE_PERSON>ov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Uzbekistan; I.A. Staroselskaya, Head of the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Uzbekistan; and S.A. Mironov, Chairman of the Russian Cultural Center of Uzbekistan.
During the conference, prominent scholars from higher education institutions in Uzbekistan and abroad delivered presentations on contemporary literary processes, linguoculturology, Russian word formation, literary translation, and current issues in teaching the Russian language
Three main academic sessions were held as part of the conference:

“The Russian Language in the Context of Contemporary Intercultural Communication”;

“The Russian Literary Process in the Context of Current Issues in Contemporary Literary Studies”;

“Methods and Methodology of Teaching the Russian Language and Literature: Innovations and Prospects.”
The international scientific conference served as an important academic platform for exchanging scholarly ideas in the fields of philology, linguistics, literary studies, and teaching methodology, discussing best practices, and further developing academic cooperation among scholars.
