The 4th Meeting of the Council of the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages Was Held

On November 27, 2025, the 4th meeting of the Council of the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages was convened.

The meeting was chaired by the university rector, Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov. At the beginning of the event, he provided information on legislative updates being implemented at the university, the effectiveness of higher education, scientific and innovative activities, as well as international cooperation and the student engagement system.

The agenda of the Council meeting included the following issues:
• the activities of faculties and departments, quality of education, scientific and spiritual-enlightenment work, financial and material support, and the process of handling appeals from individuals and legal entities;
• implemented projects, including the results of the Erasmus+ program;
• admission results for doctoral studies, research internships, and PhD programs;
• approval of dissertation topics and appointment of scientific supervisors;
• recommendations for the publication of monographs and scientific works;
• considerations related to academic titles and position competitions.

During the meeting, responsible staff members presented reports on the activities of each faculty and department. In addition, the Council adopted the necessary decisions on all issues and assigned specific tasks to the responsible officials.

The meeting concluded with positive outcomes aimed at further developing the university and improving the effectiveness of work with students.
