The 6th Meeting of the Council of Uzbekistan State World Languages University Was Held

On 2 February 2026, the 6th meeting of the Council of Uzbekistan State World Languages University was held in Tashkent. The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the University Council, Rector Ilkhomjon Madaminovich Tukhtasinov.

In accordance with the agenda, the meeting first heard reports on the implementation of the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, presidential decrees and resolutions, government documents, and instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, as well as on the status of work with appeals from individuals and legal entities.

The meeting also discussed the university’s activities in the financial and economic sphere during 2025, the expansion of international cooperation, the attraction of foreign investments and grants, the implementation of educational services exports, the level of provision with учебной literature, and the development of the electronic library.

In addition, issues related to postgraduate education, competitions for academic titles and positions, as well as the approval of work plans for 2026, were considered.

Following the discussions, relevant decisions were adopted on all agenda items, and specific tasks were assigned to responsible persons to ensure their effective implementation.
