The “Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Sport” Complex Launched at the Uzbekistan State World Languages University
On February 26, 2026, a ceremonial opening of the “Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Sport” complex was held on the campus of the O‘zbekiston davlat jahon tillari universiteti.
The complex aims to enhance young people’s modern IT knowledge, conduct scientific and practical research in the field of artificial intelligence, and promote the development of cyber sports. The project is focused on strengthening digital skills and supporting innovative thinking among youth.
The opening ceremony was attended by District Hokim Bunyod Mamadjanov, Chairman of the District Council of People’s Deputies J. Ismatov, District Prosecutor S. Mukhtarov, Head of the District Internal Affairs Department Lieutenant Colonel A. Bakhramov, as well as heads of relevant organizations.
During the visit, the guests, together with University Rector Ilkhomjon Tuxtasinov and university representatives, familiarized themselves with the institution’s infrastructure. In particular, they reviewed the conditions and opportunities created for students, including University Mall, the “Kulolman” spin-off project, modern Computer HUB classrooms, and the university museum.
In addition, within the framework of the opening ceremony, a symbolic ribbon-cutting event was held for the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory. In his speech, Ilkhomjon Tuxtasinov emphasized the development of artificial intelligence in the country, the priority tasks facing the university, and the importance of enhancing young people’s digital potential.
The modern facilities of the complex and the university infrastructure create broad opportunities for the development of practical training and scientific research for young people.
