Ilhomjon Tuxtasinov, Rector of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University (UzSWLU), Abdurahim Nosirov, Vice-Rector for International Relations, and Feruza Rashidova, Head of the Department for Coordination of Joint Educational Programs, participated in the 43rd UNESCO Summit.

During the summit, Uzbekistan was announced as the 39th country to ratify the “Global Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications concerning Higher Education.” This marks an important step for our nation in gaining international recognition and advancing our higher education system.

The Convention facilitates the recognition of qualifications and diplomas obtained abroad and obliges member states to harmonize the quality of education. Moreover, it will reduce issues related to diploma recognition for Uzbek citizens.

The UzSWLU team welcomes this achievement with great pride and will continue to contribute to the development of our national education system.
