The Rector of UzSWLU is on an Official Visit to Japan

The Rector of the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages (UzSWLU), Ilhomjon Tuxtasinov, is currently on an official visit to Japan.

On September 29, 2025, a meeting was held at Toyo University, located in Tokyo. The university leadership — Rector Etsuko Yaguchi, Vice-Rector for International Affairs Toshiya Arayaki, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Hideaki Tada, and Dean of the Faculty of Literature Ichiro Numata — warmly welcomed the UzSWLU Rector.

At the beginning of the meeting, Rector Ilhomjon Tuxtasinov provided detailed information about UzSWLU’s activities, its directions of international cooperation, and ongoing educational and scientific projects.

Following this, the two sides discussed the development of cooperation in several areas between the two higher education institutions, including:

• organizing student and faculty exchange programs;

• sending Japanese language instructors to UzSWLU;

• launching online courses for students;

• exchanging views on future joint projects and agreements.

The meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere, and both parties expressed their willingness to further expand their cooperation.
