On May 3, the regional director of the "Coursera" educational company for Central Asia, Kan Eduard, visited UzDJTU.

Within the framework of the visit, rector of UzSWLU I. Tukhtasinov, pro-rector for educational affairs M. Chutpulatov, director of the network center for retraining and professional development of teachers of higher educational institutions A. Abidjanov, expert of the network center for retraining and professional development of teachers of higher education institutions A. Kayumov, 2nd English language A meeting was held with the participation of Y. Abduraimova, the senior language teacher of the "Integrated English language course No. 2" department of the faculty, as well as guests.

At the beginning of the meeting, I. Tukhtasinov's information about the activities of UzDJTU, as well as Kan Eduard's information about the company's activities and the "Coursera" educational platform were presented.

At the same time, at the meeting, discussions were held on the issue of retraining the e-learning platform "Coursera" and applying it to the educational process of professional development courses, adapting the platform to the curricula and programs of UzDJTU and training trainers, using the platforms to teach students of the English language group of UzDJTU.
