The Republican Stage of the Presidential and Named State Scholarships Competition for the 2025/2026 Academic Year Has Begun

On 22 January of this year, an important organizational meeting was held at the National University of Uzbekistan within the framework of the republican stage of the competition for the Scholarships of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Named State Scholarships for the 2025/2026 academic year.

During the meeting, detailed explanations were provided to the expert groups formed according to the competition fields regarding the competition regulations, as well as the criteria for evaluating the applicants’ scientific works and academic achievements.

It was noted that the expert groups consist of experienced rectors and vice-rectors of higher education institutions across the country. Among them are Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, Rector of the Uzbekistan State World Languages University, and Otabek Yusupov, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation. At present, the experts are objectively reviewing the scientific works and achievements of candidates recommended for the Presidential and Named State Scholarships in bachelor’s degree programmes and master’s specialisations in accordance with the established evaluation criteria.
