2026-10-07 12-00 THE RIGHTS OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES — AN IMPORTANT MEASURE OF HUMAN DIGNITY
On October 5, 2026, a roundtable discussion entitled “The Rights of Persons with Disabilities — Rights and Freedoms That Every Person with a Disability Should Have Without Any Restrictions” was held at the Faculty of English Language 2 of Uzbekistan State World Languages University.
The event was attended by University Legal Adviser Sh. Abdullayev, Chairperson of the University’s Women’s Affairs Council Sh. Shomutalova, and F. Ashurova, Dean’s Adviser on Women’s Affairs at the Faculty of English Language 2.
During the discussion, participants exchanged views on protecting the rights and interests of persons with disabilities, the opportunities provided to them, the importance of inclusive education, and creating an equal and inclusive environment in society.
The event contributed to expanding students’ knowledge and understanding of the topic.
