The second semi-final of the “Fun and Smart: Rector’s Cup” competition was held at UzSWLU

On November 27, the Uzbekistan State World Languages University hosted the second semi-final round of the “Fun and Smart: Rector’s Cup” competition.

The following teams presented their performances in this stage:

• Faculty of Translation Studies – “Yo‘qolgan tarjimonlar”
• 1st English Faculty – “Brothers”
• Faculty of Oriental Philology – “Kosmonavtlar”
• Faculty of Roman-Germanic Philology – “TTQ”
• Faculty of International Journalism – “Aligarx”

The competition consisted of three stages, and the teams’ performances were evaluated by a panel of judges.

Results:

1st place – “TTQ” team of the Faculty of Roman-Germanic Philology
2nd place – “Aligarx” team of the Faculty of International Journalism
Additional qualification – “Kosmonavtlar” team of the Faculty of Oriental Philology

The final will take place on December 12.
