The University Stage of the “Student League” Competitions Is Ongoing

On February 19, the university stage of the “Student League” badminton competitions among male and female students was held at the sports complex of Uzbekistan State World Languages University.

A total of 50 athletes took part in the competition, engaging in intense matches for the top positions. It was clearly evident that the interest of young people in Olympic sports disciplines has been increasing year by year in our country.

The final results are as follows:

Among male students:
1st place — Fayzullayev Ulugbek (Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology);
2nd place — Akhtamov Diyorbek (Faculty of English Philology);
3rd place — Egamov Khusan (Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology).

Among female students:
1st place — Kenjayeva Karina (Faculty of Oriental Philology);
2nd place — Khasanova Sabrina (Faculty of Russian Philology);
3rd place — Omonova Shokhsanam (Faculty of Russian Philology).
