On February 10, at the Department of Practical English Disciplines No. 3 of the Faculty of English Language at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages, an event was held on the topic of the "Meeting of Three Generations," aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals.

The event was organized by the teachers A. Tolibjonova, D. Rajabova, and L. Ibrohimova, with the participation of students from group 2414. The event focused on the topic of "Meeting of Three Generations."

"Meetings of Three Generations" are taking place in various locations, and such events not only provide spiritual nourishment to the youth but also serve to strengthen the collaborative ties between representatives of three generations. One example of such meetings was the discussion between teachers and students at the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages.

The purpose of this event was to educate youth in the spirit of military patriotism, fostering a sense of loyalty to the Motherland, and raising individuals capable of fulfilling their civic duties and constitutional obligations. It also aimed at increasing youth activity in various sectors of society, especially in government services related to the military sector, strengthening loyalty to the Constitution and military duty, and instilling a sense of high responsibility for the fate of their homeland and people.

The main principles of educating youth in the spirit of military patriotism include: scientific approach, historical context, accuracy and promptness, consistency, activity, harmony of education and upbringing, continuity of the educational process, and reliance on positive results and achievements in patriotic education.

The "Meeting of Three Generations" event addresses issues such as exchanging opinions, sharing experiences and knowledge, and strengthening societal connections. Such events often cover the following topics:

Communication and experience exchange between generations:

  • Teaching youth life experiences, values, and traditions from older generations.
  • Strengthening mutual understanding between the elderly and youth.

National values and traditions:

  • Special attention to preserving Uzbek culture in modern life and passing it on to future generations.
  • Maintaining the national language, promoting respect for literature and arts among generations.

  • Providing information on social and economic support for elderly individuals and healthcare services.

Family and upbringing issues:
